• Financial Sector Targeted: While gaming remains the top target, the financial services industry saw a massive 117% increase in attacks.
• Shorter, More Intense Bursts: Long attacks are being replaced by high-intensity "burst attacks" that disrupt services quickly and disappear before traditional detection can react.
• New Attack Vectors: ACK flood attacks, which mimic legitimate traffic, are on the rise, making mitigation much more complex for SOC teams.
